4.7.19- Jesus is Necessary
Use the following thoughts and questions to have a spiritual conversation as a family. Don’t emphasize having the right answer, but focus on spending time discussing the Word as a family.

John 10:4, 14:1-6
Session Summary
Jesus tells us that he is the only way for us to enter into a relationship with the Father, God. So if we want to follow Jesus we have to learn how to distinguish his voice from all the others that surround us all the time by creating a habit of obedience.
Discussion Questions
What are some things that you know God wants you to do? What ways do you obey God in your life?
What are some things that you are not sure if they are ok or not? What confuses you about following Jesus?
Do you think it is hard to believe that there is only one way to get close to God and that is through Jesus?
Family Challenge
Work together as a family to discover one thing that Jesus asks us to do that you have a hard time doing or you just have not done it in a while. It could be finding a way to help someone who is homeless or challenging each other to only speak kind words for a whole week. Just identify something that may push you all out of your comfort zone but could be a step towards following Jesus a little closer together and do it.
