Boot Survey

First of all, I just wanted to say that I am really excited about what boot is becoming and we have enjoyed taking our time and working our way through the book of John. This semester of boot will, by November 8th, have covered the only first 2 chapters of John.
We will have made it about 9 % of the way through, but as we have been going we've also been able to talk about things like why did John write this book? What does John mean by "In the beginning was the Word" and "Lamb of God?" Who was John the Baptist? What does it mean to follow Jesus? Who was Abraham? Who was Israel? Why is the Jordan River important? Why did the Jews wash their hands and why don't we do ritual cleansings anymore? What is the Passover? What is the Temple?
We have also talked about our response. How do we build a relationship with Jesus? What is our next step towards Jesus need to be? How do we witness to our friends? We introduced the five stages of discipleship (Observer, Seeker, Believer, Worker, Discipler) and asked students to evaluate where they are now and what they can do to move closer to Jesus.
Not to mention all the fun we have had and will have over the next couple weeks with silly games,  creating team names and nicknames, playing foosball, ping-pong and mariocart, having a bonfire in the parking lot, and watching hilarious videos. All of that to say, I think that boot has been and will continue to be a big success as we move forward. But I wanted to get some feedback from you as parents.
We are planning on taking a break after November 8th until the second or third week of January. That semester will run through the first week of April and as we are looking towards that date I just wanted to get some ideas on what challenges you have faced getting kids and their friends to or from boot, what we could do on our end to make that process easier or better.
So if you have a minute, would you go here and fill out this survey before November 1st. It should not take you long and most of the answers are optional, but I would love to hear what is working, how we can better utilize boot to come alongside you and support you as you lead them towards Jesus.
Also, do not forget that every week we do post our teaching videos on the church's Youtube page, on bcsm's facebook page and here on our blog page so if you want to follow along or catch your student up before January you can always do that as well.
Thanks in advance for taking the time to respond.
Eric
