Use the following thoughts and questions to have a spiritual conversation as a family. Don’t emphasize having the right answer, but focus on spending time discussing the Word as a family.

Rate yourself as a friend.
         [1-10. 1 being the worst friend. 10 being the best.]

In what areas are you weak? What can you do to strengthen those areas?

Philippians 2:3-4: Don't be selfish; don't try to impress others. Be humble, thinking of others as better than yourselves.

Who here thinks they are a good listener? Bad? Why?

What can we do to be better listeners?

Does anyone know James 1:19?

Why is it so hard to forgive a friend when they have wronged us?

How many times should we forgive a friend for hurting us the same way? At what point should we end the friendship?

Philippians 2:4-5: Don’t look out only for your own interests, but take an interest in others, too. In other words, adopt the mindset of Jesus the Anointed. Live with His attitude in your hearts.
